October 24, 2004- 4 months

I have been so busy lately. Mom and Dad took me to Washington D.C. to visit Aunt Andrea and Uncle Scott and my cousins, they were so fun to stay with! Mom and dad saw many of the sites, I usually slept through most of the exciting things, but I was such a good boy. I thought swimming for my first time was quite exciting, but a little cold. Riding the metro was a new experience for me and it was fun to tour all of the great places. I am continuing to grow, I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow and I will find out what a big boy I am. I am really good and rolling onto my side, but I haven't quite ventured and rolling clear over from my back to my stomach...I think I will work on that more this week. I am very excited about Halloween this year and I am going to be a Lion...there is a sneak preview of my costume below. I send my love to all and will give you another update next week.

We had great dinners while on our trip. Some took a little more effort to eat the food than others. Our utensils were a wooden mallet and a knife at the Crab House. Posted by Hello

Caleb first experience in the pool. He swam a few laps, but then got tired. Posted by Hello

10/10/2004 - Week 16

Another week has flown by...time goes by so quickly when you just eat, sleep, and play. This week I got my 3 month old pictures done...it was my 3rd attempt at the picture studio, I think they turned out cute even though I spit up all over myself before the photographer even shot 1 picture. I have rolled over a few more times this week. This week I have had a blow out at least once a day where mom and dad have had to completely change my outfit-mom bought me bigger diapers yesterday in hopes that I will keep my surprises inside my diaper- I'll show her! I continually get better at playing with my toys and I am a huge flirt, people love to pinch my cheeks (which nearly hang to my belly button now). This upcoming week should be a lot of fun, I get to ride on an airplane to Washington DC- I'll tell you how the trip goes next time. Hugs and Kisses---Caleb.

Rub-a-dub-dub, I fit in the sink tub! My favorite part of bath time is when mom squirts me with the sink sprayer. Posted by Hello

October 3, 2004

What a week!!! Mommy returned to work in the mornings, I am still asleep when she leaves, but she makes sure that I have a healthy breakfast waiting for me when I wake up...I love playing with Daddy while she is gone. This week Dad got his research project set up and a lot of people think he is really important and are excited to work with him! Today I am fifteen weeks old and I rolled from my tummy to my back for the first time ever! Mommy and Daddy were ecstatic and ran to get the video camera, but sometimes I don't like to perform "on the record." We went and visited Uncle Nate and Aunt Cami and Ana and Abi this weekend. I love playing with my cousins because they think I am so cool although Mom and Dad are kind of protective of me- I know I could fend for myself. My cheeks continue to get bigger, but I consider them as a workout tool for extra practice in head control. Well I hope you all have a great week- I know I will!

I was so thrilled when Abi pushed me around in her doll stroller. Actually, Abi was perfect with Caleb. While we were visiting, she gave us second by second commentary of exactly what Caleb was doing. Posted by Hello
