Weekly update 9/26/04

Another week has flown by. Caleb is sleeping well. He slept over 8 hrs straight for 3 or 4 nights this week. His salivary glands are working well. He produces about 15 gallons of drool per day. Caleb is continuing to gain weight at a brisk pace. I think he has lost some of his ability to lift his head due to the enormous growth of his cheeks. Lindsey is starting work tomorrow, so Caleb and dad get to hang out in the morning. I (Scott) finished my pediatric rotation, and begin my research quarter.

"Whoa!! Too many toys. Which one should I play with first?"

Family update

Caleb is 13 weeks old and he stays busy grinning, laughing, cooing, and playing. This week he began sleeping 8 solid hours at night (YEAH!!!). He is getting good at hitting his hanging toys and even turned a few pages when he was reading with his dad. Enjoy the new pictures!!

Caleb loves a good diaper change. 

Caleb loves to read with Dad. He is so advanced, that he sometimes turns the pages. 

He has the thumb sucking down pat, but the four fingers aren't quite sure what to do. 

Caleb is going for a night out on the town with Mom!

More of Caleb at 12 weeks. 

Tomorrow Caleb will be 12 weeks old and he has been smiling a lot. He especially loves to smile when he first wakes up in the morning.
